The UK Prime Minister is expected to urge partner nations to provide Ukraine with more advanced missile systems to target Moscow's positions during talks in Britain on Friday.

The prime minister plans to receive Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky alongside referred to as "coalition of the willing", comprising over twenty of Kyiv's partners who have agreed to provide the Ukrainian government protection commitments once a ceasefire is brokered.

Ukraine's president has been pleading for an extended period for more advanced missile technology from Western nations, an action that Russia has cautions would worsen the war.

President Zelensky is coming from Brussels, where he met European Union officials on Thursday requesting economic assistance.

The Prime Minister will encourage delegates to ramp up the supply of long-range weapons following an effective strike on a chemical plant in Bryansk, Russia, using British-supplied advanced weaponry.
