'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League return

Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year contract he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an impressive 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the maiden significant trophy of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England captain has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about going back home as he once was, and would certainly contemplate extending his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
